Richard Brooks

Richard Brooks has spent 25 years+ in the localization industry and has held executive board positions at both European Language Industry Association and the Association of Language Companies. His focus areas in consulting are business management and growth.

Gerd Janizewski

Gerd Janizewski spent more than 20 years in the Language and Software Industry serving as a CEO as well as a member of Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards. His focus is strategic sparring for CEOs and business owners, as well as business transformation, in the areas of service, sales, marketing, strategy planning and restructuring/turnaround.

Gordana Antonijevic

Gordana Antonijević is a business development consultant for LSPs with a focus on management of EU translation tenders, LSP growth strategies and management coaching. She has worked in the translation and localization industry for 25+ years and has been a Board Director of the European Language Industry Association (Elia). Gordana is now a member of the Elia Advisory Council.

Involvement with Industry Associations

Elia is the European association of LSPs with a mission to accelerate its members’ business success. I was one of the initiators and founders of Elia back in 2005. I was also elected as Elia’s first President between 2005 until 2010. To this day I still remain involved with Elia, as a member of their Advisory Council.

Aneti is the National Association of Translation and Interpreting Companies in Spain. Founded in 2006, it has more than 50 associated companies spread throughout the Spanish territory. In 2021, I delivered my first training session for the members of the association, addressing the challenges and opportunities for companies in the language industry.

Participation in Advisory Boards

Based in Brussels (Belgium), Lexitech is a leading Language Service Provider focusing on offering global content management solutions to a long-standing clientele of corporations and public sector entities. As a member of its Advisory Board, I’m helping Lexitech grow and achieve its goals.

XTRF is one of the leading translation management systems (TMS) in the language industry. In 2021, I was appointed as a member of the Wise People Board — XTRF’s official advisory board. Together with other reputable industry professionals, I provided XTRF directors with insight into the language industry in order to support strategic decision-making processes.
